Description

Purpose of Mill Fans VVSM-3-I

Single-inlet centrifugal mill fans VVSM-3-I are designed for pneumatic transportation of coal dust in fuel preparation systems on solid fuel-fired boilers, where fuel is ground in drum-ball mills. They can also be used in technological lines for metal production at ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy plants. These fans generate high pressure at relatively low capacity and are subject to intensive abrasive wear from coal dust.

Operating Conditions for Mill Fans VVSM-3-I

The fan design allows installation after separators and cyclones and supports air flow dust content up to 80 g of coal dust per 1 m3 of air. Operation is allowed at rotational speeds up to 1000 rpm. The maximum temperature of the handled medium is 200 °C.

Casing Rotation of Mill Fans VVSM-3-I

The casing of radial mill fans can be rotated from 0° to 270° in 15° increments. Additional casing stiffeners that interfere with fixing at a specific angle are trimmed if necessary.
