Description

Purpose of Draft Fans VVR-22

Fans VVR-22 are used for conveying non-aggressive gases in technological installations of the ferrous metallurgy industry and other sectors.

General Information about Draft Fans VVR-22

Centrifugal (radial) single-inlet fans VVR-22 are designed for pneumatic transportation of non-aggressive gases. These fans are used in gas cleaning systems of various technological units and in pulverized coal preparation systems of stationary steam boilers of various capacities using medium-speed mills under overpressure.

Fans can operate with gas dust content up to 80 g/nm3, provided that the solid particles are non-abrasive and non-sticky, similar to ash-grade coal dust particles.

Use of VVR-22 fans in technological lines of other industries requires special approval.

Operating Conditions of Draft Fans VVR-22

Radial fans VVR-22 can be operated indoors and outdoors under moderate climate conditions (climatic design U, placement category 1). Fan startup is allowed when the temperature in the volute is not lower than -30 °C; the maximum allowable gas temperature at the fan inlet must not exceed 200 °C.
