This axial fan, like other fans of the VO series, moves air or gas in the plane of the impeller axis, which is driven by an electric motor. The VO series axial fan is designed for transporting explosive gas-vapor-air mixtures of categories 1 and 2, groups T1, T2, and T3, according to the classification of the "Rules for Electrical Installations" (PUE), which do not cause accelerated corrosion of the materials in the airflow section. It handles air at temperatures from -40°C to +40°C (+45°C for tropical version fans), free from dust and other solid particles in concentrations exceeding 10 mg/m3, as well as fibrous materials and sticky substances.

The fan is intended for use in moderate (U) climate conditions (placement category 2) and tropical (T) climate (placement category 2).

The root mean square value of vibration velocity does not exceed 6.3 mm/s. Installation of the fan at facilities where vibration velocity exceeds 2 mm/s is not allowed.

The fan must be installed in locations protected from atmospheric precipitation.

The model is an analogue of low-pressure axial fans VO 12-300, VO 13-300, VO 12-290, VO 12-330, VO 13-290, VO 14-300, VO 14-320, VO 13-320.

The axial fan VO 06-300 (VO 13-290) VZ #4 w/motor 4VR 63 B4 0.37 kW 1500 rpm (VO 12-300) has an impeller mounted directly on the shaft of the electric motor. The fan housing is cylindrical, flanged on both sides for duct connection. A support is provided for mounting the fan on a foundation. The impeller consists of a shroud, disc, hub, and three blades welded to the shroud. The impeller rotates in a right-hand direction.

Air movement is achieved by transferring the rotational energy of the impeller to the air, occurring in the axial plane of the impeller, which is driven by the electric motor.
