Description

Application of the VMP-6/1 Fan

When ventilating dead-end preparatory workings, the operating modes of the VMP-6/1 fan change depending on the amount of air consumed. Typical modes include prolonged ventilation under normal methane emission conditions and short-term operation after blasting. To regulate the fan's airflow capacity, nozzle control is used by partially blocking the nozzle channels. The volume of air delivered by the fan depends on the compressed air pressure before the nozzle. The pressure difference created by the fan system can be increased by connecting two VMP-6/1 fans in series. The VMP-6/1 fan is recommended for use primarily with pipelines of 600 mm and 800 mm in diameter.
