Application of the Mine Local Ventilation Fan VME-8

The VME-8 mine local ventilation fan with electric drive is an axial, single-stage, explosion-proof fan designed for ventilating dead-end mine workings, including those hazardous due to gas and dust. It operates under air density up to 1.3 kg/m³, at temperatures from −20 °C to +35 °C, dust concentration up to 50 mg/m³, and relative humidity up to 95% (at +25 °C). The fan can be manufactured with motors rated for 380/660 V and 660/1140 V.

Advantages of the Local Ventilation Fan VME-8

The performance of VME-8 fans can be adjusted by changing the angle of the impeller blades.
The fan’s design allows two fans to be connected in series, and in specific cases—depending on pipeline length and resistance—even three fans can be connected.
