Description

Purpose of Mill Fans VM-17

Centrifugal single-inlet mill fans VM-17 are designed for pneumatic transportation of coal dust in fuel preparation systems of solid fuel boilers using drum-ball mills. They can also be used in metal production lines at ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy plants. These fans generate high pressure at relatively low capacity and are subject to intense abrasive wear due to coal dust.

Operating Conditions of Mill Fans VM-17

The fan design allows installation after separators and cyclones and permits air dust concentration up to 80 g of coal dust per 1 m3 of air. Operation is allowed at rotation speeds up to [option_values.41.value] rpm. The maximum temperature of the transported medium for mill fans is 200 °C.
