Radial roof fan VKR #6,3 with electric motor Electric motor AIR 132 S4 7.5 kW 1500 RPM, made of carbon steel.
VKR #6.3 w/motor AIR 132 S4 7.5 kW 1500 rpm
Fan roof groove

Roof-mounted radial fan of the VKR #6,3 series with electric motor Electric motor AIR 132 S4 7.5 Power kW 1500 Vol./Min, made of carbon steel, is used in exhaust ventilation systems of industrial and public buildings and is mounted on rooftops.
This fan is designed for moving air and other gaseous mixtures whose aggressiveness toward ordinary-quality carbon steel is no higher than that of air, at temperatures up to 50°C, not containing dust or other solid particles exceeding 100 mg/m3, as well as sticky substances or fibrous particles. It is intended for use in moderate climate conditions (U), placement category 1.

Purpose of roof fans VKR #6.3 w/motor AIR 132 S4 7.5 kW 1500 rpm:
Roof-mounted radial fan VKR #6,3 is a low-pressure centrifugal fan with single-sided suction and backward-curved blades. The housing can be made of carbon steel, stainless steel, or dissimilar metals. A deflector around the fan housing protects the ventilation duct from precipitation. The impeller is driven by a three-phase asynchronous electric motor of the Electric motor AIR 132 S4 7.5 Power kW 1500 Vol./Min series for general industrial use (AIM or 4VR motors are used for explosion-proof versions).
Roof fans VKR #6,3 are installed on the roofs of industrial and public buildings and can operate with or without duct networks.
Design of the dust fan VKR #6,3: main components and working principle:
The roof-mounted radial fan VKR #6,3 is built according to a design scheme where the airflow is discharged sideways. The fan consists of a centrifugal fan unit, a cap, and a base.
The centrifugal fan is built according to the first structural scheme. The impeller is mounted directly on the motor shaft. The fan consists of the following main components:
- housing;
- impeller;
- electric motor;
Housing (casing) of VKR #6,3
The housing is welded from sheet and section steel. It is available in left- or right-hand rotation versions. The surfaces of the impeller and spiral housing that are in contact with the airflow form the flow passage. The purpose of the housing is to direct intake and discharge airflows.
Impeller of the fan VKR #6,3
The impeller design includes 12 backward-curved blades. The blades are welded to the disk. Materials: blades and disk – sheet steel; hub – gray cast iron. The impeller creates negative pressure in the suction zone and positive pressure in the discharge zone. The impeller is available in left- or right-hand rotation versions.
Asynchronous electric motor Electric motor AIR 132 S4 7.5 Power kW 1500 Vol./Min
The Electric motor AIR 132 S4 motor is a general-purpose three-phase asynchronous electric motor with a squirrel-cage rotor, designed to operate at 50 Hz and 220/380 V. Its nominal speed is 1500 RPM. Shaft height (frame size): 132 mm; shaft diameter: 38 mm; power: 7.5 kW; climate version: UZ; IP rating: 54. The housings of AIM motors with power from 1.5 kW are cast from gray cast iron to ensure durability.
The fan operates by transferring rotational energy from the motor-driven impeller to the air or gas mixture, causing movement of the medium through the system.
Safety instructions for operating the roof-mounted radial fan VKR #6,3
Only personnel trained in operation and safety procedures, and who have read the manual, are allowed to install and operate the fan. Installation must ensure access to service points during operation. The ventilation system must be protected from the ingress of foreign objects. Electrical installation, grounding, and motor connections must comply with the "Rules for Electrical Installations" (PUE). Maintenance and repairs must be performed only after disconnecting the unit from the power supply and ensuring the complete stop of all rotating parts.
