The VDV-ADSh E4-0500 centrifugal fans are designed for transporting air or other non-aggressive gas mixtures with a temperature not exceeding 80 °C that do not contain sticky or fibrous substances.
The fans can be used in macroclimatic regions with temperate ("U") and tropical ("T") climates, placement category 2 according to DSTU EN 60204-1:2015.
If the electric motor is protected from atmospheric precipitation, operation is allowed in conditions of placement category 1 of a temperate climate. Permissible ambient temperature: from -40 °C to +40 °C (+45 °C for tropical version).
Depending on the direction of rotation, the fans are divided into right-hand (clockwise rotation of the impeller) and left-hand (counterclockwise), when viewed from the suction side.
The VDV-ADSh E4-0500 fans are built according to the aerodynamic scheme developed by TsAGI named after N.E. Zhukovsky and are manufactured in compliance with TU U 28.2-24881057-003:2023.
The fan consists of the following main components: spiral housing, impeller, frame, collector, and electric motor.
The spiral housing is a non-detachable unit mounted on the frame with bolts, allowing installation in any position specified by DSTU EN 60204-1:2015.
The impeller consists of a front and rear disc, 12 sheet blades, and a hub.
The fan frame is welded and has mounting holes for installing the fan on vibration isolators or a foundation. The electric motor and protective cover are mounted on the frame.
The conical collector for guiding air to the impeller is fixed to the inlet pipe. The gap between the collector and the front disc of the impeller is adjusted by axially moving the collector within the inlet pipe.
