Purpose of forced-draft fans VDN #11.2 (VDN 95-40)

Centrifugal single-inlet forced-draft fans VDN #11.2 (VDN 95-40) are designed to supply air to the combustion chambers of boiler units in boiler shops of thermal power plants or large industrial boiler installations. These fans are used with balanced-draft boilers having a steam capacity from 35 to 960 t/h. Their use is also permitted in process units across various industries for moving clean air, as well as smoke exhausters for gas-and-oil-fired boilers with balanced draft.

VDN centrifugal forced-draft fans are intended for moving air and non-explosive, non-aggressive gas-air mixtures with temperatures from -30 °C to +200 °C and dust content up to 0.1 g/m3, free from sticky, fibrous, and abrasive particles. Designed for continuous operation indoors and outdoors (under a canopy) in temperate climate conditions.

Design of forced-draft fans VDN #11.2 (VDN 95-40)

The main components of VDN fans are: impeller, housing (scroll casing), inlet nozzle, electric motor, drive, and frame (support). The welded housing has a horizontal split and an inspection hatch. The casing is reinforced with stiffening ribs made from channel sections.

Manufacturing options of forced-draft fans VDN #11.2 (VDN 95-40)

Forced-draft units VDN #11.2 (VDN 95-40) are manufactured with both right-hand and left-hand rotation. With right-hand rotation, the impeller turns clockwise when viewed from the motor side; with left-hand rotation — counterclockwise. The scroll casing VDN #11.2 (VDN 95-40) is made with a discharge angle from 0° to 270° in 15° increments. Casing ribs that interfere with installation are trimmed.
