Single-inlet centrifugal blower fans VD #2.7 are designed to supply air to the combustion chambers of boiler units in thermal power plants or large industrial boiler systems. These fans are used with balanced-draft steam boilers producing 1–25 tons of steam per hour and with gas or oil-fired hot water boilers with a heat output of 0.5–16 Gcal/h. They may also be used in industrial systems for supplying clean air or as draft fans in balanced-draft boiler units.

Designed for handling air and non-aggressive gas-air mixtures with temperatures ranging from -30 °C to +200 °C and dust content up to 0.1 g/m³, free from sticky, fibrous, or abrasive inclusions. Suitable for continuous operation indoors or outdoors under a canopy in moderate climates.

Construction of blower fans VD #2.7

Main components: impeller, housing (scroll), inlet nozzle, electric motor, drive, and frame. The motor and impeller are mounted on a U-shaped frame bolted to the foundation. The housing is a welded construction made of a cylindrical shell and side walls. The cylindrical inlet nozzle is bolted to the housing.

By agreement with the customer, the fan can be additionally equipped with an inlet box and guide vanes. These redirect airflow by 90°, stabilize it, and improve the fan’s efficiency. The guide vane system can be controlled manually or with an actuator.

Available versions of blower fans VD #2.7

Fans are manufactured in both right-hand and left-hand rotation. In right-hand rotation, the impeller rotates clockwise (viewed from the motor side); in left-hand — counterclockwise. The scroll housing is produced with a rotation angle from 0° to 270° in 15° increments; interfering stiffeners are removed.
