VCP 5-45 #4 w/motor AIR 132 M2 11 kW 3000 rpm, execution 1
The centrifugal fan of the dust

Centrifugal (radial) dust fan VCP 5-45 #4 (VCP 110-43) with electric motor Electric motor AIR 132 M2 11.0 Power kW 3000 Vol./Min, manufactured in configuration No. 1, with the impeller directly mounted on the motor shaft, made of carbon steel.
This fan is designed for transporting explosion-proof non-abrasive dust-air-gas mixtures with air temperatures not exceeding 80°C and aggressiveness towards carbon steel not greater than that of air; not containing sticky substances or fibrous materials. The maximum content of mechanical impurities in the transported medium is up to 300000 mg/m3 (1 kg/m3).
The dust fan VCP 5-45 #4 (VCP 110-43) is intended for removing wood dust and chips from woodworking machines, metal dust and chips from metalworking machines, as well as for sanitary and industrial applications in stationary conditions.

Design, main components and operating principle of dust fan VCP 5-45 #4 (VCP 110-43):
Housing (casing) VCP 5-45 #4
The spiral casing is a non-detachable construction.
A cylindrical inlet nozzle with a flange is attached to the front wall of the casing. The outlet nozzle is welded to the casing. The gap between the inlet nozzle and the impeller is adjustable.
Impeller of fan VCP 5-45 #4 (VCP 110-43)
The impeller is welded and consists of 8 radially arranged straight blades, a hub, and two side disks.
Asynchronous electric motor Electric motor AIR 132 M2 11.0 Power kW 3000 Vol./Min
The electric motor Electric motor AIR 132 M2 is a general-purpose three-phase asynchronous motor with a squirrel-cage rotor, designed for operation on an AC network with a frequency of 50 Hz and voltage of 220/380 V. The nominal rotation speed of the motor Electric motor AIR 132 M2 is 3000 rpm. Mounting dimensions (shaft height): 132 mm; shaft diameter: 38 mm; power in kW: 11.0; climate version: UZ; IP rating: 54. Housings of motors with power from 1.5 kW are cast from grey cast iron for reliability. Upon request, the motor Electric motor AIR 132 M2 can be made with a housing from silumin alloy.
Fans VCP 5-45 #4 (VCP 110-43) are available in right- and left-handed rotation. The rotation direction is defined from the inlet side: clockwise – right-hand rotation; counter-clockwise – left-hand rotation.
The operating principle of the fan is based on air movement due to the transfer of rotational energy from the impeller mounted on the shaft and driven by the motor.
When the impeller rotates, the air mixture entering the channels between the blades is pushed by centrifugal force to the periphery of the impeller and directed to the outlet part of the casing.
