Application of centrifugal fans VC 4-76 #20 w/motor AIR 250 M6 55 kW 1000 rpm:
The centrifugal fan VC 4-76 #20 w/motor AIR 250 M6 55 kW 1000 rpm is designed for moving air and other gas mixtures whose aggressiveness relative to carbon steel does not exceed that of air, not containing sticky substances, fibrous materials, as well as dust and other solid impurities in an amount not exceeding 100 mg/m³.
Centrifugal fans VC 4-76 #20 w/motor AIR 250 M6 55 kW 1000 rpm are used in:
• air-conditioning systems
• ventilation systems
• air heating systems
• moving drying agent (heat carrier) in technological lines for grain drying with grain drying machines A1-DS50, A1-UZM
• other sanitary-industrial purposes
The centrifugal fan VC 4-76 #20 w/motor AIR 250 M6 55 kW 1000 rpm operates under conditions of a temperate climate, at ambient temperatures from –40 °C to +40 °C.
Principle of operation of the centrifugal fan VC 4-76 #20 w/motor AIR 250 M6 55 kW 1000 rpm:
Air, by receiving energy from the blades of the impeller, enters the fan under the influence of centrifugal force at an angle of 90 degrees and is directed radially into the volute (scroll) of the spiral housing; in the volute, moving along the spiral-shaped housing under pressure, it is directed through the fan outlet.
Completeness of centrifugal fan VC 4-76 #20 w/motor AIR 250 M6 55 kW 1000 rpm:
The fan VC 4-76 #20 with electric motor Electric motor AIR 250 M6 55 Power kW 1000 Vol./Min consists of the following main assemblies:
• spiral housing,
• impeller,
• frame,
• collector,
• electric motor.
The impeller consists of front and rear discs, 12 sheet blades, and a hub.
The frame of the fan is welded. The base has a hole for installation on vibration isolators or foundation. The electric motor and guard are mounted on the frame.
The conical-shaped collector for supplying air to the impeller is attached to the inlet nozzle. The clearance between the collector and the front disc of the impeller is adjusted by axial movement of the collector in the inlet nozzle.
Position of the housing for right (PR) and left (LIV) rotation, view from the suction opening:
a) right rotation
b) left rotation
Note on placement categories depending on climatic conditions:
1st category: for operation in the open air (exposure to the combination of climatic factors characteristic of these macroclimatic regions);
2nd category: for operation under a canopy or in volumes where temperature and humidity fluctuations are not significantly different from open air and there is relatively free access of external air, for example, in tents, bodies, trailers, metal rooms without thermal insulation, as well as in the enclosure of a complete product of category 1 (no direct exposure to solar radiation and atmospheric precipitation);
3rd category: for operation in enclosed spaces with natural ventilation without artificially regulated climatic conditions, where temperature and humidity fluctuations and the effect of sand and dust are significantly less than in the open air, for example, in thermally insulated metal, stone, concrete, wooden rooms (no exposure to precipitation, direct solar radiation; significant reduction of wind; significant reduction or absence of diffuse solar radiation and moisture condensation);
4th category: for operation in volumes with artificially regulated climatic conditions, such as in closed heated or cooled and ventilated production premises; in premises with conditioned or partially conditioned air and others, including well-ventilated underground premises (no exposure to direct solar radiation, atmospheric precipitation, wind, sand and dust of external air; absence or significant reduction of diffuse solar radiation and moisture condensation);
5th category: for operation in volumes with increased humidity (for example, in unheated and unventilated underground premises, including mines, basements, in the ground, in ship and other premises where prolonged presence of water or frequent moisture condensation on walls and ceiling is possible, in particular, in some holds, some textile, hydrometallurgical production shops, etc.).
