General industrial-purpose low-pressure centrifugal fan of series VC 4-75 №8 (VR 88-72.1-5.5, VR 80-75-5) with electric motor Electric motor AIR 160 S4 15.0 Power kW 1500 Vol./Min, execution scheme № 5 with V-belt drive, manufactured from carbon steel.

This fan is intended for ventilation or air-conditioning systems and other gas mixtures whose aggressiveness to carbon steel does not exceed that of air at up to 80 °C, and which do not contain fibrous materials, sticky substances, dust, or other solid impurities in excess of 100 mg/m³ under moderate (U) climate (placement category 3) and tropical (T) climate (placement category 2) in accordance with DSTU 15150.

The series VC 4-75 #8 w/motor AIR 160 S4 15 kW 1500 rpm centrifugal fans operate under moderate climate conditions at ambient temperatures from −40 °C to +40 °C. The temperature of the conveyed medium must not exceed 80 °C.

Principle of operation:

Air is drawn into the fan by centrifugal force through the impeller blades at a 90° angle and directed radially into the scroll casing; within the casing, the pressurized air follows a spiral path and is discharged through the fan outlet.

The impeller wheel includes front and rear discs, 12 sheet blades, and a hub.

The fan frame is welded, with a base opening for mounting on vibration isolators or a foundation. The motor and casing are secured to the frame.

The conical collector attached to the inlet nozzle guides air to the impeller. The overlap between the collector and the impeller’s front disc is adjusted by axial movement of the collector in the nozzle.
