Centrifugal fans VC 4-75 VZ #4 w/motor 4VR 132 M2 11 kW 3000 rpm (VR 88-72.1-5.5, VR 80-75-5) are used in:
- Air conditioning systems
- Ventilation systems
- Air heating systems
- Other sanitary and industrial purposes
The centrifugal fan VC 4-75 VZ #4 w/motor 4VR 132 M2 11 kW 3000 rpm (VR 88-72.1-5.5, VR 80-75-5) operates under moderate climate conditions at ambient temperatures from -40°C to +40°C. The temperature of the handled medium must not exceed 80 °C.
Operating principle of the centrifugal fan VC 4-75 VZ #4 w/motor 4VR 132 M2 11 kW 3000 rpm (VR 88-72.1-5.5, VR 80-75-5):
Air, by receiving energy from the impeller blades, enters the fan under the influence of centrifugal force at a 90-degree angle and is directed radially toward the spiral-shaped scroll casing. Inside the scroll, the air moves under pressure through the spiral-shaped casing and is directed to the fan outlet.
Fan configuration for the centrifugal fan VC 4-75 #4 made of dissimilar metals:
The fan VC 4-75 #4 (VR 88-72.1-5.5, VR 80-75-5) with the electric motor Electric motor 4VR 132 M2 11.0 Power kW 3000 Vol./Min consists of the following main components:
- Spiral casing
- Impeller
- Base frame
- Collector
- Electric motor Electric motor 4VR 132 M2 11.0 Power kW 3000 Vol./Min
The impeller consists of a front and rear disk, 12 sheet metal blades, and a hub.
The base frame of the fan is welded. The base has an opening for installation on vibration isolators or a foundation. The electric motor and protective cover are mounted on the base frame.
The conical collector for guiding air to the impeller is mounted on the inlet nozzle. The overlap between the collector and the front disk of the impeller is adjusted by axially moving the collector inside the inlet nozzle.
Orientation of the radial fan housings with right-hand (RH) and left-hand (LH) rotation, as viewed from the suction side:
- a) right-hand rotation
- b) left-hand rotation
Note on placement categories depending on climatic conditions:
Category 1: For outdoor use (exposed to the full range of climatic factors characteristic of the given macroclimatic region).
Category 2: For use under shelter or in premises where temperature and humidity variations are not significantly different from those outdoors, and where external air has relatively free access, such as in tents, truck bodies, trailers, uninsulated metal enclosures, or in the enclosure of equipment rated for Category 1 (without direct exposure to sunlight and precipitation).
Category 3: For use indoors with natural ventilation but without artificially controlled climatic conditions, where temperature and humidity fluctuations, and exposure to sand and dust, are significantly lower than outdoors, such as in insulated metal, stone, concrete, or wooden buildings (protected from precipitation, direct sunlight, significantly reduced wind, and minimized or absent scattered solar radiation and moisture condensation).
Category 4: For use indoors with artificially regulated climatic conditions, such as heated, cooled, or ventilated rooms, or other well-ventilated underground premises (protected from direct sunlight, precipitation, wind, external sand and dust, with minimized or absent exposure to scattered solar radiation and moisture condensation).
Category 5: For use in areas with high humidity (e.g., unheated and unventilated underground spaces such as mines, basements, soil environments, ship compartments, or other areas with possible long-term water presence or frequent condensation on walls and ceilings, such as certain holds or workshops in textile or hydrometallurgical production).
D/Dn – the diameter ratio fan impeller to the nominal diameter of the impeller. The impellers, which diameters differ from the nominal one, are called co-efficient impellers. The ratio of the diameter of the fan impeller to the nominal diameter of the impeller could be: 0.9, 0.95, 1.05, 1.1.
