Description

The medium-pressure centrifugal fan of the VC 14-46 NZH #6,3 series (VR-287-46.1) with the Electric motor AIR 160 S8 7.5 Power kW 750 Vol./Min electric motor, intended for general industrial use, is made of AISI 403 stainless steel for aggressive environments.

This fan is designed for ventilation or air conditioning systems and other gas mixtures contaminated with aggressive gases and vapors, where the corrosion resistance of stainless steel is higher than that of ordinary steel, and does not contain fibrous materials, sticky substances, dust, or other solid impurities exceeding 100 mg/m³, under moderate (U) climate conditions (placement category 3) and tropical (T) climate (placement category 2) in accordance with DSTU 15150.

This model is an analogue of medium-pressure centrifugal fans: VR-287-46.1, VR 320-46, VR-300-46, VR 300-45, VR 289-46, VR 15-45.

The temperature of the transported medium must not exceed 80 °C.

Operating principle of the centrifugal fan VC 14-46 NZh #6.3 w/motor AIR 160 S8 7.5 kW 750 rpm (VR-287-46.1):

Air, by receiving energy from the impeller blades, enters the fan under the action of centrifugal force at a 90-degree angle and moves radially into the spiral casing; in the casing, moving along the spiral-shaped housing, it is directed under pressure through the fan outlet.

The VC 14-46 NZH #6,3 fan, equipped with the Electric motor AIR 160 S8 7.5 Power kW 750 Vol./Min electric motor, consists of the following main units:

The impeller consists of a front and rear disk, 32 sheet blades, and a hub.

The fan frame is welded. The base has an opening for installation on vibration isolators or a foundation. The electric motor and the cover are mounted on the frame.

The conical collector for air supply to the impeller is attached to the inlet pipe. The gap between the collector and the front disk of the impeller is adjusted by axial movement of the collector in the inlet pipe.

  • Category 4: For use in premises with artificially controlled climate conditions, e.g., closed, heated or cooled and ventilated production premises, in premises with conditioned or partially conditioned air, and other, including well-ventilated underground premises (no direct exposure to sunlight, precipitation, wind, sand, and outside air dust; absence or significant reduction of scattered sunlight and moisture condensation);
  • Category 5: For use in premises with high humidity (e.g., unheated and unventilated underground spaces, including mines, basements, in the ground, in ship holds and other spaces where water may be present for long periods or frequent moisture condensation on walls and ceilings, particularly in some holds, certain workshops of textile, hydrometallurgical production, etc.).
