This fan is designed for ventilation or air conditioning systems and other gas mixtures contaminated with aggressive gases and vapors, where the resistance of stainless steel is higher than that of ordinary steel, and which do not contain fibrous materials, sticky substances, dust, or other solid impurities in an amount not exceeding 100 mg/m3 under moderate (U) climate conditions (placement category 3) and tropical (T) climate (placement category 2) according to DSTU 15150.
This model is an analogue of medium-pressure centrifugal fans VR-287-46.1, VR 320-46, VR-300-46, VR 300-45, VR 289-46, VR 15-45.

Air, by transferring energy from the impeller blades, enters the fan under the influence of centrifugal force at a 90-degree angle and moves in a radial direction into the volute of the spiral casing; in the volute, moving along the spiral-shaped casing, under pressure, it is directed through the fan outlet.

The impeller consists of front and rear discs, 32 sheet blades, and a hub. The fan frame is welded. The base has a hole for installation on vibration isolators or a foundation. The electric motor and cover are mounted on the frame. The conical collector for supplying air to the impeller is fixed to the inlet pipe. The overlap between the collector and the front disc of the impeller is adjusted by axial movement of the collector in the inlet pipe.
