Description

Unified Protective Section UZS-1M (modified) is a rectangular frame made of sheet metal with welded stiffening ribs that form cells. The cells are closed by flexible louvers.

Under the effect of excess pressure from a shock wave, the louvers fit tightly against the base, preventing the shock wave from entering the ventilation system. After the excess pressure subsides, they return to their original position under the force of the springs.
