Description

Unified Protective Section UZS-1 is a rectangular frame (1) made of sheet steel with welded stiffening ribs forming cells. The cells are covered with spring-loaded louvers (2). Under the influence of excess pressure from a shock wave, the louvers (2) tightly press against the base, preventing the shock wave from entering the ventilation system. After the excess pressure subsides, they return to their original position under the action of springs.
