Medium-sized protective section SZS 500×500

Medium-sized protective section SZS 500×500 is a rectangular frame made of profile steel with welded stiffening ribs forming cells. The cells are closed with flexible blades (louvers). Under the action of excess pressure from a shock wave, the louvers fit tightly against the grid, preventing the shock wave from penetrating the ventilation system. After the excess pressure subsides, they return to their original position under the action of springs. The tilt angle of the louver plates relative to the plane of the grid can be adjusted within the range of 0 to 45 degrees and set by raising or lowering the movable frame (3) using adjustment screws.
