Inspection Hatch Insert KLV
KLV inspection hatch inserts are designed for installation on ventilation system ducts and pipelines directly adjacent to airtight ventilation valves (type KG) and provide access for cleaning them from blockages. They are installed on supply and exhaust ducts made of 2 mm sheet steel or thin sheet steel with a powder coating. The temperature range of the transported medium is from -20°C to +40°C. The device can be operated in moderate (U) climate conditions, placement category 2 (U2) according to DSTU EN 60204-1:2015. KLV hatch inserts can operate at both negative and positive temperatures.
Structurally, the hatch insert consists of a tee-shaped body with two flanges at the ends and a side hatch that allows visual or tactile inspection and, if necessary, cleaning of the sealing area of the airtight ventilation valve (type KG) from possible blockages. The cover tightly closes the side hatch opening using bolted connections through a rubber gasket. The hatch insert is made of sheet steel with a powder coating according to the catalog.
