Description

Purpose of Hot Blast Smoke Exhausters GD-31

Centrifugal single-inlet hot blast smoke exhausters GD-31 are designed for recirculating flue gases from boilers operating on solid and gas-oil fuels with various steam capacities. Smoke exhausters GD-31 may also be used for extracting hot and dusty flue gases from the furnaces of pelletizing production lines in the ferrous metallurgy industry (sintering plants), with gas dust content up to 0,5 g/nm3 and dust particle size not exceeding 0.5 μm.

Operating Conditions for Hot Blast Smoke Exhausters GD-31

The smoke exhauster is designed for continuous operation indoors and outdoors in moderate and tropical climates (climatic versions U or T, placement category 1, DSTU 15150-69). Startup is allowed at a scroll temperature not lower than -30 °C. The maximum permissible inlet temperature must not exceed 400 °C. The smoke exhauster may operate at a rotor speed of 1000 rpm.
