Purpose of Hot Blast Exhausters GD-20
Centrifugal single-inlet hot blast exhausters GD-20 are designed for the recirculation of flue gases from boilers operating on solid or gas-oil fuels with various steam capacities. The use of GD-20 exhausters is also permitted for extracting hot and dusty flue gases from furnaces of technological lines used in the production of iron ore pellets in the ferrous metallurgy industry (sintering plants), with gas dust content up to 0,5 g/nm3 and dust particle size not exceeding 0.5 μm.
Operating Conditions of Hot Blast Exhausters GD-20:
The exhauster is designed for long-term operation both indoors and outdoors in moderate and tropical climates (climatic versions U or T, placement category 1). Startup is allowed when the air temperature inside the spiral casing is not lower than -30 °C. The maximum allowable temperature at the exhauster inlet must not exceed 400 °C. Operation is permitted at a rotational speed of 1000 rpm.
