FP-200 ventilation absorber filter
Description

FPU-200 — a universal filter-absorber designed to purify outside air from radioactive dust, toxic substances, and biological aerosols. It is used as part of ventilation filtration systems (FVK-I, FVK-2, ERV-49) in the second and third operating modes and is not used during peacetime. Air passes through a smoke filter where solid and liquid aerosols are removed, then through a layer of catalytic charcoal where harmful gases are eliminated, and finally enters the room. The filters can be installed individually or assembled into columns of 2–3 units. Hermetic valves are installed before and after the column.
