ERV-2022-75-4,0
Electrohand fan for air-raid shelters

Purpose of the ERV-2022-75-4,0 Fan
The ERV-2022-75-4,0 hand-electric fan was developed by the Design Bureau of Kyiv Ventilator Plant LLC in 2022, directly during the war caused by Russia's aggression against Ukraine, as a modern replacement for the morally and technically outdated ERV-49 fan. This fan is designed to ventilate shelters and civil/military defense facilities that do not have autonomous power supply systems.
General Information about the ERV-2022-75-4,0 Fan

Mode III – air regeneration
Additional Information about the ERV-2022-75-4,0 Fan
One of the key features and advantages of operating this fan with the electric drive is that the gearbox remains constantly engaged with the impeller shaft. This eliminates the need for any additional coupling actions when switching to manual mode. In the absence of electricity, the fan can be operated by manually rotating the gearbox handle.
Advantages of ERV-2022-75-4,0 (ERV-49 Alternative)
The first models of hand-electric fans for shelters were introduced back in 1949. However, the ERV-49 became morally and technically obsolete: it was heavy, had low efficiency, required great physical effort in manual mode, and its fixed rotation direction and scroll angle made installation and use very inconvenient.
Most importantly, the ERV-2022-75-4,0 fan does not require any additional coupling or setup to switch between electric and manual modes. You just attach the handle to operate it manually.
Another significant advantage is its power—it is twice as powerful as the ERV-49, meaning one person is sufficient to ventilate a much larger area manually.
Application of ERV-2022-75-4,0
The ERV-2022 hand-electric fan is specially designed for ventilating civil defense shelters and bomb shelters without autonomous power systems. It is also suitable for shelters and civil/military defense facilities equipped with diesel generators, in case of generator failure or limited operating time.
Construction of the ERV-2022-75-4,0 Hand-Electric Fan
The ERV-2022-75-4,0 fan consists of a sturdy steel body, a frame, a special gearbox, and an electric motor. The fan can operate either from the motor or by manually rotating the gearbox handle. The motor is constantly coupled with the gearbox and does not require any additional couplings.
When the motor is off, ventilation is performed manually by rotating the handle. The fan is manufactured with a left-hand rotation direction by default. Typically, the fan should be installed at a height of 1125 mm from the floor to the motor axis.
The ERV-2022-75-4,0 hand-electric fan supports:
-
Mode I – clean ventilation
-
Mode II – filtered ventilation
-
Mode III – air regeneration
