[option_values.65.value] motor features
WEG motors are manufactured with housing made of cast iron FC-200 providing maximum durability and resistance to aggressive environment. The cooling fins are designed to minimize the accumulation of moisture and dust on the engine. Solid motor feet provide maximum mechanical strength and simplify alignment and installation. The main body also has a prepared place for vibration sensors in its standard version. Cast iron terminal box can be located on different sides or on the top of the engine.
The bearing shields at the drive end are designed with fins for better heat dissipation and reduce the operating temperature of the bearings, thus, increasing the lubrication interval. The end shields are suited with openings for discharging the moisture that may condense inside the housing. The holes are closed with rubber drain plugs. Fan housing is made of steel and has aerodynamic characteristics to reduce noise and optimize distribution of the air flow between the housing ribs improving the heat exchange.
The shaft of W22 standard engine is made of steel. The shafts are supplied with an open keyway, threaded center bore. Motor [option_values.65.value] is equipped with ball bearings with deep groove. To compensate for axial displacement, the engines are equipped with pre-loaded washers. The shaft seal system used V-shaped sealing rings.
Motors can withstand an overload of 1.5 times the rated torque for 2 minutes.
