Electric motor AIR 56 B2
Three-phase asynchronous electric motor
General information about asynchronous electric motor AIR 56 V2
Asynchronous three-phase electric motors with squirrel-cage rotor AIR 56 V2 are used in all branches of industry, particularly for electric drives of various industrial devices, mechanisms, and machines.
The design versions and mounting method comply with GOST 15150-69.
Advantages of asynchronous electric motor AIR 56 V2
- Capability for short-term mechanical overloads.
- Simple construction.
- Easy start-up and straightforward automation.
- Predominantly constant speed under varying loads.
- Increased efficiency (up to 75%) due to high-precision manufacturing.
- Reduced noise level (down to 55 dB) thanks to the use of high-precision bearings.
- IP54 protection rating provides enhanced protection of the motor against water and dust.
- Reduced reactive current level cosφ (down to 0.86), which lowers the risk of overvoltage in the power grid.
- High operational reliability during starts and sudden overloads achieved by increasing the multiple of starting torque.
- The housing is made of silumin alloy.
Asynchronous electric motor AIR 56 V2
Asynchronous electric motors with squirrel-cage rotor occupy the largest market share, they are simple in design, provide high efficiency, and allow automatic adjustment of torque according to changes in load torque on the shaft. Asynchronous three-phase motors AIR 56 V2 are manufactured for voltage 220/380 V (AC network with 50 Hz frequency in the standard version, and for 60 Hz upon request).
Specifications of electric motor AIR 56 V2:
- The housing is made of silumin alloy.
- The winding is high-quality copper, varnish-impregnated.
- Winding heat-resistance class F – maximum operating temperature 150 °C.
- Protection degree IP54 – suitable for use in environments with high dust concentration, protected from water splashes.
- Terminal box protection degree IP55.
- Rated power 0.18 kW – mechanical power at the shaft according to the design and operating mode.
- Operating mode S1 – continuous duty at constant load and stable temperature of motor parts according to GOST 183-74.
- Synchronous rotational speed n0 equals 3000 rpm.
- Number of pole pairs of the motor AIR 56 V2 – 2p = 2.
- Shaft diameter d1 = 11 mm.
- Climatic version U3 according to GOST 15150-69: U – for temperate climate, 3 – placement category (indoor installation without artificial humidity and temperature control).
- Energy characteristics: efficiency factor – 68.0%; power factor cosφ = 0.78 (values depend on load).
- Mounting and overall dimensions of the motor are indicated on the nameplate.
Accordingly, AIR 56 V2 stands for:
- A – asynchronous
- I – within “Interelectro”, unified series
- R – power rating matched to mounting dimensions according to RS3031-71 standard (CIS countries) or C: CENELEC-DOCUMENT 28/64 per European standard
- 56 – shaft center height (mm) corresponding to rated power 0.18 kW and synchronous speed 3000 rpm
- B – mounting dimension according to core length (second length as per standard)
- 2 – number of poles
