General information about asynchronous electric motor DAZO4-450X-8MT2
Asynchronous three-phase squirrel-cage electric motors of the DAZO4 series are designed for driving mechanisms that do not require speed regulation (pumps, fans, smoke exhausters, etc.). The motors are intended for operation from an AC power supply with a frequency of 50 Hz and a voltage of 6000 V.

Operation of asynchronous electric motor DAZO4-450X-8MT2
Direct starting of the motors is ensured at both rated supply voltage and at reduced supply voltage down to 0.8 Unom. Motors allow two consecutive starts from a cold state or one start from a hot state. The interval between subsequent starts must be at least three hours, with the total number of starts not exceeding 10,000 over the service life and not more than 500 starts per year.

The motors have rolling bearings with grease lubrication. Bearing temperature control is carried out using resistance temperature detectors. Connection of the motors to the driven equipment is accomplished via flexible couplings. The stator winding insulation materials are of heat resistance class no lower than “B.” The stator winding insulation is thermosetting type “Monolit-2.” The stator winding has six output leads fixed on four insulators in the terminal box. The phase connection of the winding is star-connected. Temperature monitoring of the winding and stator core is carried out by six temperature sensors installed in the stator slots. The motors allow clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. The direction of rotation can be changed only from a standstill. The motors can be equipped with SKF or FAG bearings.
