Exhauster

The D #6 smoke exhauster is designed for removing gases from small-capacity boiler plants with a steam output of up to 1 ton per hour, operating on gas and fuel oil. The temperature of the transported gases should not exceed 180°C for units with an impeller made of steel grade ST3, and 400°C for units with an impeller made of heat-resistant steel grade 09G2S. Also used by enterprises for sanitary and technical purposes, installed in metallurgical production, at thermal power plants, etc. The ambient temperature is from -40°C to +40°C.
The D #6 smoke exhauster consists of the following components, which can be purchased separately:
- spiral scroll housing of the fan D #6
- impeller of the fan D #6
- fan base D #6
- fan collector D #6
- Electric motor AIR 112 MA6
The welded spiral housing for the D #6 w/motor AIR 112 MA6 3 kW 1000 rpm smoke exhauster is made of carbon steel, the impeller (cantilever arrangement) with forward-curved blades, base, collector, and three-phase AIR electric motor with squirrel-cage rotor.
The D #6 w/motor AIR 112 MA6 3 kW 1000 rpm smoke exhauster in installation scheme No. 1 has the impeller mounted directly on the electric motor shaft, making the entire unit compact. Designed for long-term operation, wear resistance is ensured by thickened scroll walls and hardfacing of the blades. Uninterrupted gas flow is ensured by specially selected blade inlet and outlet angles. The smoke exhauster can be made for right or left rotation; the scroll housing is rotatable (0–270 degrees).
General information about D #6 w/motor AIR 112 MA6 3 kW 1000 rpm smoke exhausters:
- Single-sided suction
- Spiral scroll housing
- Forward-curved blades
- Number of blades: 20
- Rotation direction — right or left (determined from the motor side)
Purpose of D #6 w/motor AIR 112 MA6 3 kW 1000 rpm smoke exhausters:
The D #6 w/motor AIR 112 MA6 3 kW 1000 rpm smoke exhauster is used in power engineering as an exhaust device, for equipping steam and hot water boilers with balanced draft of low and medium capacity (up to 25 tons of steam/hour or 20 MW), operating on various types of fuel. Smoke exhausters must be equipped with an efficient ash collection system. Designed for continuous operation indoors and outdoors under temperate climate conditions. Start-up is allowed at housing temperature not lower than -30°C. Maximum gas temperature at inlet — not higher than 250°C.
Smoke exhausters can also be used on gas and oil boilers with balanced draft, as well as in technological installations at enterprises in various industries for sanitary, technical, and production purposes (at thermal power plants, in metallurgy, chemical industry, gas cleaning and dust collection units, etc.).
D #6 w/motor AIR 112 MA6 3 kW 1000 rpm smoke exhausters are used:
- in power engineering
- on gas and oil boilers
- on steam and hot water boilers
- for other sanitary and industrial purposes
Principle of operation of the D #6 w/motor AIR 112 MA6 3 kW 1000 rpm smoke exhauster:
The principle of operation of the fan is to move air by transferring it the energy of the rotating impeller mounted on the motor shaft. The air-gas mixture entering through the collector passes into the channels between the impeller blades and, under the action of centrifugal force, moves to the periphery of the impeller. Smoke gases with air enter the exhauster due to the energy of the impeller, are deflected by 90 degrees in the radial direction and move through the housing to the fan outlet.
Operating conditions of the D #6 w/motor AIR 112 MA6 3 kW 1000 rpm smoke exhauster:
- Housing made of carbon steel, gas temperature not higher than 250°C
- When starting exhauster D #6, the air temperature in the flow part must not be lower than -30°C
- Ambient temperature — from -40°C to +40°C
- Root mean square vibration speed from external sources — not more than 2 mm/s
- Dust content of discharged gases — not more than 2 g/m3
