Purpose of Cyclones VZP-M-300
Cyclones VZP-M-300 are used in pneumatic transport and aspiration systems as efficient dust collection equipment for cleaning gas-air environments from fine, fibrous, and sticky dust. Thanks to their versatility, VZP-M units can be installed in almost any type of production facility where effective air purification is required.

They are successfully used in the mining industry when working with sand, clay, cement, ore dust, asbestos, silicates, grain dust, and other materials. For abrasive types of dust, cyclone VZP-M-300 is recommended to be manufactured from thick-walled metal on special order.

The main advantage of VZP-M is its ability to function as a secondary purification flow. By supplying air into two channels of the dust collector from a single fan, high efficiency is achieved even when the parameters of the gas-dust mixture change.

Operating Principle of Cyclones VZP-M-300
The cyclone operates on the principle of a dual airflow. The main flow moves from top to bottom, while the secondary flow rises from below along the axis. Under centrifugal force, solid particles are thrown to the walls and settle in the hopper. The purified air is discharged through the central pipe. Adjustment of the airflow ratio ensures maximum cleaning efficiency.

The cyclone works in combination with a fan installed in front of the unit. Recommended fan models: VCP 5-45, VCP 6-45, VCP 6-46, VCP 7-40.

Design of Cyclones VZP-M-300
The cyclone is made of carbon steel sheets or stainless steel (for the food industry). Flanges are welded to the pipes, ensuring a reliable connection. The upper vortex generator has a spiral shape. Galvanized steel adapters can be used to connect different pipe diameters.

The units can be manufactured in left-hand or right-hand configurations, with the option of being equipped with a storage hopper. Metal thickness, dimensions, shape, and cost depend on operating conditions and customer requirements.

Cyclones are designed for use in moderate climates (UHL, category 4 according to GOST 15150-69). Before delivery, the units are painted and packaged for transportation.
