Cyclone VZP-400 – a universal dust collector for industrial use

Purpose of the VZP-400 cyclone
The cyclone dust collector VZP-400 is designed to clean gas-air flows from fine and medium-dispersed dust. It is effectively used in pneumatic transport, aspiration systems, ventilation, and smoke extraction. Thanks to its unique counter-rotating air streams design, it performs efficiently even with mixed types of dust.

VZP-400 is widely used in industries dealing with:

  • cement, silicate, and clay dust;
  • ore, asbestos, and grain dust particles;
  • abrasive materials (custom-made from reinforced steel if needed).

Operating principle of VZP-400 dust collector
The cyclone operates with two counter-rotating air flows. The main flow moves top-down, creating centrifugal force that pushes dust particles toward the walls. The secondary flow rises upward along the axis, aiding the filtration process.

After cleaning, the air exits through the central outlet. Flow ratio adjustment is possible to optimize the filtration performance.

Design features

  • Manufactured from carbon or stainless steel (customizable)
  • Available in right- or left-hand configurations
  • Equipped with flanges, adapters, and a dust collection hopper
  • Painted, sealed, and packaged before shipment

For optimal performance, it is recommended to use the following fans with VZP-400:

  • VCP 6-46
  • VCP 7-45
