Purpose of Cyclones VUDOS-10

Industrial dust collectors VUDOS-10 are designed to capture dry dust from abrasive grinding wheels, deburring, polishing, and other metalworking machines.

The VUDOS-10 units belong to a new generation of mobile in-shop dust collectors. Using VUDOS-10 industrial vacuum systems ensures compliance with dust concentration standards in the work area according to GOST 12.1.005-88 (General sanitary and hygienic requirements for workplace air), and DSTU 2893-94 (Centralized dust removal systems. General safety requirements). Noise levels meet the requirements of DSTU 2807-94 (Wood- and metalworking equipment). The air purification efficiency reaches 99.6%.

Local use of cyclones provides the following benefits:

  • Reduces costs and commissioning time for new equipment,
  • Saves electricity by using a less powerful 4 kW electric motor,
  • Eliminates expenses for additional heating of cold air in winter.

Operating Principle of Cyclones VUDOS-10

Industrial dust collectors perform two-stage air purification. The first stage is a dry cyclone, and the second is a fabric filter. When the fan impeller rotates, a vacuum is created, drawing in contaminated air. The air enters the dust collector, then the cyclone, where centrifugal force moves large dust particles to the housing walls, directing them into a detachable bin. After that, the air passes through a fabric filter for final purification before being released back into the workspace.
