The ventilation cyclone UCM-38-300 is used in pneumatic transport systems and aspiration units. Its main purpose is to capture fine dust in industrial facilities. Most often, the dust collector UCM-38-300 is applied in shelling and grinding departments of flour and cereal mills, where effective air purification is required.

Depending on operating conditions, the industrial cyclone can be equipped with either a snail on the exhaust pipe or a protective cap. If the unit operates under pressure, a cap is installed to prevent precipitation from entering the system. When operating under vacuum, a snail-expander is used, which improves dust collection efficiency.

The efficiency of the cyclone UCM-38-300 in capturing flour dust is as follows:

• for single-unit cyclones — 98–99 %.

These figures are considered among the highest for dust collectors of this class, while the device operates without additional filters. For ease of installation and operation, the cyclone is produced in both right-hand and left-hand versions.

The upgraded cyclone for flour production UCM-38-300 differs from the previous UC-38 model by having a spiral-screw vortex generator. This design solution has increased the unit’s productivity and significantly reduced aerodynamic resistance.

The industrial cyclone UCM-38-300 is equipped with a collection hopper for gathering and temporarily storing dust. For reliable and stable performance, it is important to ensure that the dust level does not reach the control plane located at a distance of 0.5 of the hopper diameter from its cover.
