General information about cyclone SIOT-M1-3
The SIOT-M1-3 cyclone is a modernized series of dry inertial dust collectors, designed for coarse and medium purification of gas–air mixtures from dry dust that does not contain a high amount of sticky or abrasive particles.

Main technical features of SIOT-M1-3:

• Cleaning efficiency: 83–90% (depending on dust type and system parameters);
• Aerodynamic resistance: 650–1200 Pa;
• Maximum pressure: up to 4800 Pa;
• Recommended gas velocity in duct: 15–18 m/s;
• Additional air supply between hopper and body — resistance reduced by half, productivity increased by 1.5 times;
• Available in designs with left-hand or right-hand swirl flow;
• Installed exclusively on the suction side of the fan.

Application field
The SIOT-M1-3 cyclones are used in the same industries as their predecessors (CIOТ): for purification of gas–air mixtures during drying, roasting, sintering, and fuel combustion. They are effective in aspiration systems of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy enterprises, mechanical engineering, oil industry, energy sector, chemical industry, and building materials production.

Important: SIOT-M1-3 cyclones must not be used in explosive environments without special design, nor for dust with a high content of sticky or abrasive impurities.

• New snail-shaped outlet instead of screw-type cover;

• Thickened body (from 2 mm to 3 mm) for increased durability;
• Reduced body height by 30% for easier installation;
• Secondary dust carryover reduced by 2–2.5 times due to cylindrical insert between body and hopper.

Cyclone hopper
The hopper is manufactured individually, depending on the desired cleaning frequency. It is hermetically welded to the body, preventing air leakage and efficiency loss. Dust unloading schedule must be followed to avoid overflow.

Installation
The SIOT-M1-3 cyclones are mounted on special metal pedestals (legs). Installation is allowed both indoors and outdoors.
