Purpose of the cyclone LIOT-6
The LIOT-6 cyclone is used for coarse and medium cleaning of gas-air mixtures from dry dust that does not stick together and does not have a fibrous structure. It is one of the first and most reliable devices in aspiration systems, used as an air cleaning filter. It is widely applied in elevators, grain storage facilities, feed mills, and other agricultural and industrial sectors.

Operating principle of the cyclone LIOT-6

• Air enters the cyclone through the side inlet pipe.
• It spirals down, creating centrifugal force.
• Solid particles settle on the walls and fall into the hopper.
• Cleaned air exits through the top outlet pipe.

Design of the cyclone LIOT-6
The LIOT-6 cyclone is made of black steel (other versions available on request). All joints are welded, and the inlet and outlet pipes are equipped with flanges for duct connection. Internal and external surfaces are primed for corrosion protection.

The LIOT-6 cyclones can be manufactured in both right-hand and left-hand versions. In the right-hand version, the airflow (viewed from above) rotates clockwise, while in the left-hand version it rotates counterclockwise.

The LIOT-6 cyclones can be installed both on the suction and on the discharge side, which makes them versatile in operation.

Battery installations of cyclones LIOT-6
To increase cleaning efficiency, several LIOT-6 cyclones can be combined into battery installations (2, 4, 6 or 8 units). This significantly improves dust capture, especially fine particles. At the customer’s request, the unit can be equipped with a hopper, filter, inspection window, and other additional components.
