Description

Purpose of cyclones CVP-6
CVP-6 cyclones with a water film are designed for cleaning dusty air removed by ventilation systems. They are effective when handling non-cementing dust, including dust generated during processing and transportation of sand, clay, coal, limestone, abrasives, ores, as well as moist, sticky, and fibrous dust.

CVP-6 cyclones can be used as the only stage of air cleaning at dust concentrations up to 10 g/m³. For higher concentrations, they are recommended as a secondary filtration stage.

The equipment is usually installed indoors. For outdoor installation, it is necessary to prevent freezing of water in the tank, supply system, collector, flushing device, and sludge discharge cone.

Design of cyclones CVP-6
The CVP-6 cyclone includes:

  • a body with an air inlet pipe;
  • an air outlet scroll attached to the top flange of the body;
  • an adjustable air outlet pipe with fixed rotation angles;
  • a sludge discharge cone with a hydraulic seal, attached to the bottom of the body;
  • spraying of the inner surface with water under 0.02–0.025 MPa pressure through a nozzle connected to a ring manifold;
  • a hatch with a glazed cover for monitoring nozzle operation;
  • a flushing device in the air inlet pipe for removing deposits in the entry zone.
