Purpose of cyclones CRk-400
Cyclones CRK were developed based on CR models. This is a modernized version with a shortened design and a modified air inlet angle. Other characteristics remain identical to the previous models.

Main purpose of cyclones CRk-400 – operation in pneumatic transport systems for moving bulk materials. They are used in agriculture, transport, manufacturing, construction, trade, and other industries.

Materials that can be transported: grain, cement, wood, sand, plastic and other bulk products. The main advantage is a low resistance level (700–900 Pa), which allows the use of fans with less powerful electric motors.

Advantages of cyclones CRk-400

Design of cyclones CRk-400

  • Ratio of cone to cylindrical part height ≈ 1:1.
  • Equipped with a tangential swirl generator.
  • Ratio of exhaust pipe to body diameter = 0.6, ensuring low hydraulic resistance, but lower efficiency when handling fine dust.
  • Recommended for transporting coarse dust and large particle fractions.

Manufacturing materials:

  • carbon steel (corrosion-resistant);
  • alternative materials available upon request.

Features:

  • welded seams;
  • flanges for easy connection to air ducts;
  • primer coating and protective film packaging;
  • options with left- and right-hand airflow rotation.

Installation of cyclones CRk-400
It is recommended to install the fan after the cyclone – this minimizes impeller wear. For maximum efficiency, the system should be equipped with a special airflow discharger. Suitable fans: VCP 5-45, VCP 6-45, VCP 6-46, VCP 7-40, VC 14-46.

System design considerations:

  • cyclone and fan model;
  • air duct thickness and length;
  • loading height;
  • aerodynamic characteristics of the fan (pressure and capacity);
  • properties of the transported material.
