Purpose of cyclones C-800
Cyclones C-800 are used in pneumatic transport systems at woodworking plants, furniture factories, and industrial complexes. Their main task is the mechanical collection of wood waste: shavings, sawdust, wood and sanding dust.

Units of type C provide an air purification efficiency of 90 to 97%, depending on the cyclone diameter and the type of materials. Thanks to this, the equipment can efficiently handle large volumes of air.

⚠️ Important: cyclones are not recommended for dust with a fibrous structure or a high tendency to stick together.

Design of cyclones C-800
The design scheme of cyclones C-800 is a vertical welded structure of cylindrical shape with a conical narrowing.

The structure includes:

• a cylindrical and conical body (connected by flanges that perform a supporting function);
• inlet and outlet nozzles;
• an exhaust opening with a connecting flange.

If necessary, cyclones can be equipped with a collection hopper for dust waste. Its parameters (volume, shape, price) depend on customer requirements.
For reliable operation of the cyclone, it is necessary to:

• regularly clean the hopper from dust;
• monitor the filling level;
• carry out periodic inspections and eliminate possible damage.

Execution of cyclones C-800
Cyclones are manufactured in two versions:

• right-hand design – airflow moves clockwise;
• left-hand design – airflow moves counterclockwise.

Operation process

1. Dust-laden air enters the annular space through the inlet nozzle.
2. Under the action of centrifugal force, dust particles are pressed against the walls of the body.
3. Cleaned air exits through the separator into the inner pipe.
4. Dust waste settles in the collection hopper.

Operating conditions of cyclones C-800

• Maximum working pressure: up to 250 kg/m².
• Permissible temperature: up to 200 °C.
• Optimal air velocity: 16–20 m/s.
• Cyclone resistance: 830–1300 Pa.
• The aggressiveness of the dust-air mixture should not exceed that of air.
• Particles of dust up to 20 μm in size may remain in the cleaned flow.
