Flexible connectors are intended to prevent the transmission of vibration from fans or ventilation units to the ductwork, as well as to partially compensate for thermal deformation along the duct run. They are used in ventilation units that move air within a temperature range from −40 °C to +80 °C. Compatible with ducts with diameters from 100 to 630 mm.
Flexible connectors consist of two flanges joined by a vibration-isolating material. They are made of galvanized sheet metal and a polyethylene tape reinforced with polyamide textile fabric. The connectors are not intended to carry mechanical loads; using them as a supporting structure is prohibited.
Installation of flexible connectors into the ventilation system is performed by fastening the end flanges to the corresponding flanges in the system. Fastening is carried out using galvanized bolts and clamps.
