Cyclones of the type CR (Cyclone Radial) — are industrial units designed for coarse and medium air cleaning from dust in pneumatic transport and aspiration systems. Thanks to the use of centrifugal force, cyclones CR effectively remove dust particles, sawdust, shavings from the gas-air mixture.
The most common models: CRC — conical-type cyclones, COL — cyclones with an oval funnel, as well as models of the type CR for grain processing, woodworking and milling enterprises. All these models meet the requirements of GOST and have high efficiency at low energy consumption.
Constructively, the CR cyclone consists of a cylindrical part, a conical body, an inlet nozzle, an exhaust opening and a hopper for collecting particles. The air that enters the CR cyclones is cleaned due to the spin of the flow inside the body. Under the influence of centrifugal force, the particles settle in the hopper, and the cleaned air is discharged outside.
The main technical characteristics depend on the model, but all units have high performance and reliability. Carbon steel or other durable metals are used, ensuring durability even in difficult operating conditions.
CR cyclones are actively used in enterprises where effective air purification is required: woodworking industry, grain processing, metalworking, mills, as well as during transportation and loading of products.
