A battery installation of class 4BCSh cyclones is equipment consisting of four cyclones assembled together. It is designed for separation in aspiration units or in pneumatic transport systems of medium-dispersed dust and gaseous media.

The installation of class 4BCSh cyclones is performed in the standard version from ferrous metal. Upon request, it is possible to use any metal at the customer's request. Metal blanks are welded using a special welding machine.
The inlet/outlet pipes have flanges. An air duct is connected to them. The surface of the equipment is protected by a durable coating. There is a need to manufacture class 4BCSh cyclones with right-hand or left-hand rotation. The efficiency of the operation of four cyclones assembled together is significantly higher than when using single devices. The bunker of this equipment has a conical shape. The accumulator is equipped with a sluice gate and a frame. The cleaned air chamber is a collector that has the shape of a prism. The purified air can be discharged from it through the upper or side nozzle.
The productivity of class 4BCSh cyclones varies from 1060 to 10140 m3/h, the diameter of the cylindrical part of each of the four cyclones is 200 ÷ 550 millimeters at an operating pressure of 869 Pa. The speed of the clogged flow entering this equipment is 16-18 m/s. The efficiency of cleaning clogged air reaches 95% - 98%.
Air contaminated with medium-dispersed suspended dust is fed into class 4BCSh cyclones through the inlet nozzle. Inside the equipment, the air flow, which has received a rotational motion, continues to move in a helical manner. Due to centrifugal forces, dust particles are pressed against the inner surfaces of the cyclones, losing speed, and roll down them directly into the cone - hopper. The dust pollution collected in this way is discharged into the dust ducts using sluice gates. The air freed from foreign inclusions is simultaneously discharged at the top or side through the equipment's manifold box and exhaust pipes. The performance of a group dust collector is directly related to the dimensions of the equipment, and also depends on the diameter of the inlet/outlet pipes. The larger the battery unit, the better the cleaning result.
The 4BCSh cyclone unit is widely in demand in the agricultural production segment. These units can be found at grain processing plants, in bakery production plants, etc. This equipment can be used in other industries if the dust inclusions to be separated do not have stickiness or abrasive properties.
Class 4BCSh equipment is installed in tandem with a fan, which is mounted either behind or in front of the cyclone. In the second case, a dust-type fan must be installed (provided that the mixture being cleaned contains a small amount of abrasive particles). This equipment cannot be used with high concentrations of sticky and abrasive particles suspended in the air. It is not recommended to use class 4BCSh equipment in the presence of a droplet-liquid phase in the air.
