CIOT-M1 Cyclones
CIOT-M1 class cyclones are used for coarse and medium degrees of purification of the gas-air working environment from a set of foreign inclusions, in which the content of abrasive and sticky components is small. The CIOT-M class cyclone is an improved modification of the CIOT class cyclone. CIOT-M class cyclones are units with increased efficiency. In the improved CIOT-M class, the quality of air purification is much higher, this circumstance led to the expansion of the model line due to three new models with diameter numbers - 8, 9, 10 (standard size 1100, 1180, 1240 millimeters, respectively). Cyclones of the CIOT-M1 class have both increased efficiency and increased productivity.

Design advantages
CIOT-M1 class cyclones are usually made of a special black metal that is resistant to corrosion. At the customer's request, the cyclone can be made of another metal, including one suitable for explosive environments. In modernized cyclones of the CIOT-M1 class, the hopper and the housing are connected by a twister insert. Most of the contaminated flow enters through the upper section of the cyclone, the additional part through the lower one. As a result, a significant reduction - by two times - of aerodynamic resistance is ensured, while the productivity increases by one and a half times. These cyclones are made in the right or left version for ease of installation on site. They are installed only on the suction side in relation to the fan.
The productivity in ten models of CIOT-M1 cyclones varies from 2250 to 26500 m3/h, the diameter of the cylindrical part - from 550 to 1240 millimeters, the working pressure is the same - 4800 Pa. The resistance level varies in the range of 650-1200 Pa, the air flow inlet speed is 15-18 m/s. The hopper of this cyclone can be equipped with a slide gate or a gate of a different design (flasher). The degree of air purification is 83-90%.

Field of application
CIOT-M1 class cyclones are widely in demand for dry purification of gas-air mixtures formed, for example, during firing, drying, agglomeration, etc. These units effectively function in aspiration air purification systems in metallurgy, mechanical engineering, oil refining and chemical industries, and other similar areas.
Features of operation
CIOT-M1 class cyclones are placed inside and outside the premises, mounted on special legs (pedestals). Standard CIOT-M1 class cyclones are prohibited from being used in work with explosive environments without special additional equipment.
