D Series smoke exhausters are industrial centrifugal (radial) fans designed to remove flue gases from the combustion chambers of medium and high power boilers. They are available in several versions: made of carbon steel (for gases up to 200°C), optionally low-alloy steel (up to 400°C), or high-alloy steel (up to 750°C). The housing is coated with a powder paint for corrosion protection.
The impeller has 32 forward-curved blades and can be configured for either right or left rotation. The housing can be rotated in 15° increments, making installation easier in various conditions. There are two design schemes:
— No. 1 — impeller mounted directly on the motor shaft;
— No. 3 — drive to the impeller via an intermediate shaft.
