SK-TSN-34M Cyclones
SK-TSN-34M class cyclones are a modernized version of SK-TSN-34 class dust collectors in the form of a cone with spiral inlet pipes for cleaning flue gases from foreign inclusions: dust, soot and other solid particles. Cyclones SK-TSN-34M are in demand for cleaning the air flow from sticky and abrasive dust.

There are various assembly options and dimensions of cyclones of the SK-CN-34M class. Therefore, it is not difficult to choose the appropriate equipment for forming a dust collection complex for premises with a capacity of up to 120,000 m. SK-CN-34M units have large dimensions, a long conical shape, and a spiral pipe at the inlet. All this together allows you to use one installation in a large production room. Formation of a group of cyclones of this class is not recommended.
SK-TSN-34M cyclones are made of sheets of ferrous metal three millimeters thick, resistant to corrosion due to a super-strong special structure. The design of such cyclones includes a swirler - a "snail", which provides right- or left-hand rotation of the incoming gas flow relative to the exhaust pipe.
The performance of models of cyclones of the SK-TSN-34M class is in the range of - 1100 ÷ 63600 m3/h, the diameter of the cylindrical compartment is 400 ÷ 3000 millimeters at a maximum pressure of 1700 Pa. The temperature of the working gas mixture should not exceed 250 °C. The gas flow velocity at the inlet should be within 10 ÷ 17 m/s. The maximum concentration of contaminants in the gas to be cleaned is 1000 g/m3. The efficiency of cleaning the contaminated stream is within 90% - 98%.
Principle of operation of the SK-CN-34
Cleaning of the clogged gas stream in the SK-CN-34M class cyclone is carried out using centrifugal forces that arise after the spiral swirl of the air flow. Under their influence, solid particles fly to the walls of the unit, and after impact, fall down along them into the hopper - the accumulator, which is an integral part of the standard configuration of the cyclone. The purified air is discharged outside through the upper opening.

Field of application
SK-CN-34M cyclones are designed for effective operation in systems for catalytic cracking of petroleum products and butane dehydrogenation in the production of carbon black. They are applicable for air purification in aspiration systems, pneumatic cleaning and pneumatic transport of carbon black production. These units have the highest degree of purification compared to other conical cyclones, however, they have a high resistance coefficient, and in terms of pressure losses they are twice as low as their predecessor, the SK-CN-34. Cyclones SK-TSN-34M are in demand for cleaning in those productions where sticky and highly abrasive dust is present in the air space. These dust collectors are indispensable in hydrolysis workshops of yeast production when they are installed after spray dryers in the gas coolant purification complex, they are in demand in the process of heating installations and reactors for cleaning both the gas coolant and the air.
Features of operation
The cyclone of the SK-TSN-34M class operates in tandem with a smoke exhauster or fan. For combined work with these cyclones, it is recommended to use smoke exhausters of the DN, VDN, D series and fans of dust classes VTSP 6-46, VTSP 7-40, VTSP 6-45, VTSP 5-45. After the cyclone, you can mix carbon filters, which further increase the cleaning efficiency - the smell will also be eliminated. After installing the unit in place, it must be insulated, for which the cyclones are provided with fasteners. Cyclones of the SK-TSN-34M class are also in demand for the simultaneous cleaning process from impurities of various foreign particles with high concentrations.
