Catalog and Price of AIR Asynchronous Motors
The AIR series asynchronous electric motors are reliable general-purpose three-phase machines designed for various applications. Power range – from 0.12 to 315 kW, rotation speed – 3000, 1500, 1000, and 750 rpm. Operating voltage: 220/380 V or 380/660 V. The housing is made of cast iron or silumin, with a powder-coated surface for protection. Available designs: IM1081 (foot-mounted), IM2081 (foot and flange-mounted), IM3081 (flange-mounted).
Application of AIR Electric Motors
Three-phase AIR motors are widely used across industries. They are suitable for industrial fans, pumps, woodworking and metalworking machines, as well as any equipment where it is necessary to convert electrical energy (220/380/660 V) into mechanical shaft rotation.
Mounting Types
IM 1081 – foot-mounted version. The motor is installed parallel to the rotation axis on a horizontal surface.
IM 2081 – combined foot and flange mounting. The motor can be fixed either parallel or perpendicular to the axis of rotation.
IM 3081 – flange-mounted version. The motor is mounted perpendicular to the fastening surface.
Connection Schemes of AIR Motors
"Star" Connection (Y)
Most AIR motors (220/380 V) are factory-wired in a star configuration and are ready to operate from a 380 V network. If the motor is designed for 380/660 V, the factory connection is delta.
"Delta" Connection (Δ)
Used when the motor needs to be connected to a 220 V network (for 220/380 versions, with a capacitor, resulting in ~30% power loss), or to a 380 V network (for 380/660 versions, starting in star mode and then switching to delta).
"Star–Delta" Connection
Applied to 380/660 V motors. The motor starts at 660 V in a star configuration and then automatically switches to delta mode at 380 V. This reduces inrush currents and allows the motor to operate at maximum efficiency.
