While others are only considering switching to renewable energy, we are already actively using it. In June, almost the entire Kyiv Fan Factory operated on the power generated by its own solar power plant.
From approximately 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the solar power plant consistently covered the energy consumption of the entire production facility. And it didn't just cover it — we also generated more than we needed: 5,513 kW were transferred to the grid in a month.
For comparison: we used 6,802 kW from the external grid, which means that the actual consumption from the general system was only 1,289 kW. The rest — over 20 MW — we generated ourselves.
These figures clearly demonstrate the efficiency of our solar power station: 79.5% of all products manufactured in June (which is 4 out of 5 conventional fans!) were created using solar energy.
The Kyiv Fan Factory has once again confirmed that modern production can be not only high-quality but also energy-efficient.
