Engineering Heavyweight: Supervised Installation of a 3.5 MW Exhauster with Siemens
In heavy industry, scale is defined not by loud words, but by megawatts and reliability. One of the flagship cases of the Kyiv Fan Factory (KVZ) is the launch of equipment for a global metallurgical giant.
Project Essence
In August 2019, KVZ engineers performed the supervised installation of an exhauster (industrial exhaust fan). The main challenge was the colossal drive power of 3.5 MW.
Key Details
- Partnership with Leaders. We worked side-by-side with engineers from Siemens Ukraine. Combining our expertise in aerodynamics with the reliability of Siemens drives ensured a flawless result.
- Critical Precision. Installation supervision of this class means total control over assembly and mounting. With such loads, even the slightest deviation is unacceptable. We ensured pinpoint precision.
- Client Scale. The equipment was installed for one of the world's largest metallurgical holdings.
Why It Matters
This project proves that KVZ is ready for highly complex, energy-intensive challenges. We don't just manufacture fans; we integrate them into powerful industrial systems and guarantee correct operation from the very first second of launch.
